MONGOLIA

Our partners in Mongolia have distributed 1000 winter kits through 67 local churches across Mongolia. They are reconnecting with their partner churches to encourage them to follow up with all families who received winter kits. Over 60 of these churches will invite families to their Christmas events, and we anticipate and pray that as many people as possible come to the churches and receive Jesus in their lives. 

Local church planters will also be holding special Christmas outreach events in their communities. Please pray that the hearts of local people will be open to hearing and receiving the good news of Jesus.

MYANMAR

Our partners operate a children’s home for refugee children and will celebrate Christmas together along with people from surrounding villages. They will also travel into areas within Myanmar and share with the many who are internally displaced.

• Pray for safety as they travel into territory which is still hostile to civilians.

• Pray that as they share the Christmas story with both children and adults, many of whom have never heard of the Saviour who was born to die for them, that many will respond and receive Christ Jesus as Saviour.

• Continue to pray for the war to be over in that area that men and women can again live in peace.

 

MIDDLE EAST

Our partners in the Middle East are preparing for a special event where families from the areas around where they minister and live will be invited to come and hear the message of hope and peace in Jesus. These people are from countries such as Syria, Yemen, and Iraq. There is a mix of spiritual backgrounds: some are nominal Christians, others are Mandaeans and many are from the Muslim faith. Much needed gifts will be shared with those who have lost everything.

• Pray for cold and hurting hearts to be softened by the message of hope, and the kindness and love which will be extended towards them.

• Pray for provision to enable our partners to provide for the great needs of these dear people.

• Pray for health and strength for our partners as they work tirelessly in a hostile country.

 

INDIA

Our partners in India are excited to share the love of Christ with those in great need, through several festive events across the communities in which they minister.

They will provide clothing for widows and elderly, for children and families living in the slums, and for the families of pastors.

As they share food and celebrate the birth of the Saviour, they will also share the gospel message.

• Pray for hearts which are open, ears which hear and lips to respond to the glorious truth of “God with us Immanuel”.

• Pray for those servants of God who will share the message, that they would be anointed by the Holy Spirit and their own lives blessed.

 

NEPAL

On New Years Eve our partners in Nepal will be hosting a youth event where over 100 young people will get together to have a celebration of food, worship and fun. Many of those attending will be from a non–Christian background and will hear the gospel message for the first time.

• Pray that as these young people invite their non–Christian friends they will be encouraged to share the good news of the gospel.

• Pray that at the event many will give their lives to Christ and know transformation.

• Pray for our partners as they host and ferry these young folks over the city that they will be kept safe and be invisible to the authorities.
